BELTON- The UMHB baseball team opened its 2022 season on Friday night, defeating rival Hardin-Simmons, 6-5 on a walk-off sacrifice fly from Carson Hagan. The Cru came back on Saturday and split a doubleheader with Cowboys, emerging with a 2-1 series victory.
