Playing at home, the UMHB baseball team took both games of Saturday’s doubleheader. Hunter Jones, Staton Dudley, Malek Bolin all hit home runs in an 11-7 win in the first game. In the second game UMHB also won, 24-7, with 22 hits, led by Rhett Grosz, who was 3-for-3 with three runs scored.

BELTON- Malek Bolin saw the ball well, and unleashed his powerful swing, sending the pitch deep and over the furthest part of the outfield wall in center field. 395 feet and a two-run home run. It was No. 2 on the day for the first baseman. And a 17-2 lead. In the fourth inning.
BELTON- In a competitive series against the ASC’s first-place team, UMHB remained in step with ETBU, and claimed a one-run victory in the series finale on Saturday afternoon.
The Crusaders are now 14-12 overall, 8-10 in ASC play, with 14 games left on the schedule.

JACKSON, Mississippi- James McGlumphy set the tone Friday afternoon. And the weekend ended with UMHB baseball’s 400th win as a D-III program. Chalk it up to a memorable weekend on the road for the Crusaders, now 12-10 on the year, who took two of three from Belhaven, winning the series on Saturday afternoon.
BELTON- There was a point in Tuesday’s duel with No. 16 Trinity that Mike Stawski sensed something special was taking place in his dugout.
In the past, the Crusaders had entered the two annual non-conference matchups with the Tigers hoping they might win. But on Tuesday night, that changed. Now, UMHB believed it would win.
BELTON- The confidence is growing at a rapid rate for the UMHB baseball team.
On Tuesday night, just three days after taking down a UT-Dallas team now ranked No. 5 in the nation, the Crusaders added a second consecutive Top 25 win, defeating No. 16 Trinity, 12-9, for the first time since 2017.
GEORGETOWN, Texas- The UMHB baseball team continued its strong production at the plate Tuesday night, scoring 13 runs. Southwestern countered with five more, however, to earn an 18-13 non-conference victory, as the two opponents combined for 36 hits in a game that spanned a lengthy three hours and 41 minutes.
