BELTON- You would have to go back to 2015 to find the last time UMHB was sent on the road within the first two rounds of the playoffs. The last time the Crusaders played away from Belton in the second round, it was 2009.

Belton, Tx- UMHB defeated Huntingdon in the first round of the NCAA Playoffs on Saturday. The CRU held Huntingdon to no score as UHMB scored 54 in the sleet and will face Trinity on Saturday in San Antonio. For more on the game click here .

BELTON- The sleet and cold temperatures on Saturday afternoon at Crusader Stadium did not hold UMHB back in its 2022 playoff debut. Instead, the Crusaders made a statement, pulling off their first shutout of the season, dominating on both sides of the ball in a 54-0 victory.

Avila savoring final season, achieving success as UMHB’s kicker
BELTON- Anthony Avila has played in plenty of games during his five-year collegiate career. 56 to be exact.
He has kicked plenty of field goals, so many that he holds the UMHB career record with 52.
And to see him make a tackle in the open field, saving what appears to be a sure touchdown for the opponent is nothing new.
