BELTON- Clif Carroll coached his first game as UMHB’s head men’s basketball coach inside Strahan Arena the day before Thanksgiving on Nov. 26, 2020. Two years later, he and his team will return to the 10,000-seat arena in San Marcos, facing Texas State on Dec. 13.

Of course, if the Crusaders have it their way, this past Saturday’s 38-7 victory over Austin College will mark the first third of a 15-game journey in 2022, and for the most part, UMHB has looked every bit of a national title contender, entering its Week 6 matchup at ETBU with a 3-0 ASC record.

BELTON- In front of a homecoming crowd, the UMHB football team started slow, but found its rhythm soon enough, shutting out Austin College over the game’s final three quarters en route to a 38-7 victory on Saturday afternoon.
The Crusaders picked up 547 yards of total offense, and moved to 4-1 on the season, with a 3-0 record in ASC play.
