With the first exhibition match of the 2022 season on tap for Wednesday night, the UMHB women’s soccer team took the practice field for a Saturday evening practice. The Crusaders, under the direction of head coach Barry Elkins, looked strong. They will test themselves against another collegiate opponent in Belton three days from now, facing Hill College at 5 p.m. at the UMHB soccer field. The official season opener is Sept. 1, as UMHB hosts Wisconsin-Whitewater in a 7:30 p.m. match.
