AUSTIN, Texas- Facing a 14-point halftime deficit, UMHB head coach Clif Carroll challenged his team at halftime.

No. 2 UMHB football prepares for No. 16 Trinity in first-round playoff matchup
BELTON, Texas- UMHB’s history against Trinity (TX) on the gridiron is extensive to say the least.
The two programs, separated by just 138 miles, have met on nine occasions. The Tigers were the first team UMHB ever faced, as the two squared off in San Antonio to begin the Cru’s inaugural season in 1998. That contest ended in a 37-14 loss for the Crusaders, as did the next three meetings, the later two of which were contested in the playoffs. UMHB’s first playoff opponent in program history was Trinity in 2001. And the Crusaders’ first playoff win came in 2004 against…you guessed it, Trinity.

UMHB to host Trinity in first round of D-III Football Playoffs
BELTON, Texas- The UMHB football team will open the NCAA D-III playoffs by facing an in-state opponent on Nov. 20, as it was announced Sunday afternoon that the Cru’s first round matchup is against Trinity (TX).
UMHB men’s hoops finds three-point rhythm in midst of 104-75 loss at UT-Arlington
ARLINGTON, Texas- For 32 minutes, the UMHB men’s basketball team stayed in stride with D-I UT-Arlington. A tough eight-minute stretch midway through the second half resulted in a 104-75 exhibition loss on Saturday night, but more importantly, the Cru displayed improvement from Thursday’s loss to Stephen F. Austin and held its own against D-I competition.
