BELTON- The first transfer the UMHB football program added to its 2023 recruiting class was Jordan Oldoerp, a Central Texas native from Southern Nazarene University, who committed to the Cru on Jan. 3.  A quarterback with exceptional arm strength who spent time at both Georgetown and Hendrickson high school before continuing his career at the collegiate level this past fall.

Catching up with the Commits: Ben Platt

The UMHB men’s soccer program has brought in not one, but two starters from the reigning 6A state champions, Lake Travis High School, as the 2022 season gets set to begin.

Ben Platt is a midfielder who made significant contributions to the Lake Travis program through all four years of his prep career, and has plenty of upside as he makes the transition to the collegiate level.

BELTON- Coming off a stellar season a year ago in which they went 18-1 in ASC play, the UMHB women’s basketball program is carrying that momentum into the upcoming season. Depth is always a critical component in head coach Mark Morefield’s hard-nosed, balanced attack, and the Cru will have plenty of it, especially with the addition of the freshman class.

Catalina Cortez, of Lubbock-Cooper High School, is a key part of this group…

BELTON- The UMHB soccer program enters the 2022 season with momentum, coming off a stellar showing last fall that saw the Cru glide through the regular season with a perfect 10-0 record in ASC play. Led by first-year head coach Ben Allen this season, UMHB’s roster will feature plenty of new faces, as Allen and former head coach Brad Bankhead (now serving as UMHB’s Associate Athletic Director) recruited a number of talented Class of 2022 high schoolers to round out the 2022 roster. That includes two stars from the reigning UIL 6A state champions, Lake Travis High School.
