UMHB women’s golf alum Abigail Davis has overcome the odds since birth, having been born with a limb difference. But she hasn’t let that stop her, and recently represented UMHB well with a strong showing at the U.S. Adaptive Open.

UMHB men’s golf’s William Sammons prevails in playoff hole to win Alamo City Classic; UMHB women’s golf takes 2nd at ASC Preview
SAN ANTONIO- In the pressure of the moment, William Sammons prevailed.
Faced with a sudden-death playoff hole in the final round of the Alamo City Classic against Trinity’s Jacob Mason, Sammons made the crucial putt necessary on the first playoff hole to earn the individual title. It marked his first individual victory of the fall.
CHAMPIONS! UMHB women’s golf captures ASC Tournament Title, 5 named All-ASC
GLADEWATER, Texas- The weather was unbearable at times. The field was competitive. Winning a three-day tournament is not easy. But the UMHB women’s golf team overcame the odds, and claimed the program’s 13th ASC Tournament Title on Tuesday afternoon by four strokes. The victory punched the Crusaders’ ticket to the NCAA Tournament.
After decorated freshman year, UMHB women’s golfer Sydney McConnell looking to finish 2021-22 season strong
BELTON-Sydney McConnell entered the final 18 holes of the 2021 ASC Tournament tied for sixth place. The margin between her score of 77 in the opening round and the current first-place leader was a mere six strokes. But that was quite a bit of ground to make up within a field as tight as this one. As the second day of the tournament progressed however, McConnell slowly began gaining ground. It ended as one of the best days of her collegiate career.
