BELTON — UMHB Volleyball reached the double-digit win mark on Saturday, and did so in dominant fashion, sweeping both Methodist and LeTourneau to go undefeated in the UMHB Tournament.
Kendall Harrington and Natalie Hughes put up exceptional numbers on the way to individual All-ASC honors and a second-straight 20-win season last fall for UMHB Volleyball. Now as juniors, the duo figures to be crucial to The Cru’s performance yet again, and that was highlighted on Tuesday with the release of the ASC’s Preseason Watch List.
MARSHALL, Texas — UMHB Volleyball’s legacy of success in ASC Tournament play added another chapter on Friday evening. The third-seeded Cru emerged victorious in a thrilling five-set victory over No. 2 seed Hardin-Simmons, advancing to Saturday’s tournament final.
BELTON — For the first time in head coach Mark Pryor’s six-year tenure, UMHB Volleyball has won at least 20 matches in consecutive seasons. In Friday’s home finale, The Cru swept UT Dallas in straight sets, improving to 20-6 with just two contests left in the regular season.
