AUSTIN, Texas- The UMHB volleyball fell in a third straight conference match on Friday night, as Concordia (TX) emerged with a 3-1 home victory, and now boasts wins over two of the ASC’s most prominent programs in UMHB and UT-Dallas.
ABILENE, Texas- Playing in front of its home crowd on Tuesday night, Hardin-Simmons had reason to put on a show. With a victory over UMHB, the Cowgirls would move into sole possession of first place in the ASC standings. And they had no shortage of momentum entering the match to accomplish that goal, riding a five-game win streak.
The UMHB volleyball team kept its unbeaten streak at home alive on Friday night, sweeping LeTourneau (25-15, 25-20, 25-16), as the Crusaders improved to 9-2 overall and 5-0 inside the Mayborn Campus Center.

ABILENE, Texas- The UMHB volleyball team extended its winning streak to three matches on Tuesday night in Abilene, sweeping McMurry. It marks UMHB’s first road win of the year, and moves the Crusaders to 2-1 in conference play.
HOUSTON- Less than 24 hours after its first loss of the season, the UMHB volleyball team split its first two matches at the St. Thomas (TX) tournament, defeating Whitman 3-1 early in the afternoon, before dropping its evening duel to St. Thomas, 3-2.
MARSHALL- An undefeated ETBU team on the rise managed to knock off No. 25 UMHB on Thursday night, handing the Crusaders their first loss of the season, as the Tigers captured the decisive fifth set, 15-9, and won the match, 3-2.
