SAN ANTONIO- In the final non-conference game of the regular season, the UMHB baseball team went toe-to-toe with the nation’s No. 19 team on the road, but a late grand slam powered Trinity (TX) to a 7-3 victory on Tuesday night.
Playing at home, the UMHB baseball team took both games of Saturday’s doubleheader. Hunter Jones, Staton Dudley, Malek Bolin all hit home runs in an 11-7 win in the first game. In the second game UMHB also won, 24-7, with 22 hits, led by Rhett Grosz, who was 3-for-3 with three runs scored.

BELTON- Malek Bolin saw the ball well, and unleashed his powerful swing, sending the pitch deep and over the furthest part of the outfield wall in center field. 395 feet and a two-run home run. It was No. 2 on the day for the first baseman. And a 17-2 lead. In the fourth inning.
BELTON- In a competitive series against the ASC’s first-place team, UMHB remained in step with ETBU, and claimed a one-run victory in the series finale on Saturday afternoon.
The Crusaders are now 14-12 overall, 8-10 in ASC play, with 14 games left on the schedule.
