True To The Cru’s Athletes of the Week (Sept. 2) presented by Sacrifice Training
Each Monday, we will recognize one male student-athlete and one female student-athlete whose contributions and performance stood out in the previous week. It is a way to recognize some of the outstanding individuals representing The Cru, and highlight their efforts towards their team’s overall success. Week 1 honors are sponsored by Sacrifice Training.
Heading into Friday’s season opener, UMHB Volleyball strengthened by versatility and cohesiveness
BELTON-In his six years as Mary Hardin-Baylor’s head volleyball coach, Mark Pryor has been at the helm of a number of talented teams. In each of the last five years, The Cru posted an overall winning percentage above .680, and three of those seasons saw UMHB win at least 24 matches.
UMHB Volleyball No. 2 in ASC Preseason Poll, Harrington and Hurd earn preseason recognition
With UMHB volleyball’s season opener just 10 days away, the American Southwest Conference released its preseason poll on Tuesday afternoon, putting East Texas Baptist at No. 1 followed by The Cru at No. 2.
UMHB Volleyball announces 2024 schedule, Cru will open the season on the West Coast
In the quest to defend its 2023 ASC regular season title, the UMHB volleyball program will play a wide variety of competition in the 2024 regular season, with trips to Oregon and Wisconsin in the first two weeks of the season, as well as matches against opponents from seven different conferences. The 2024 slate was officially released on Thursday.
