BELTON, Texas- As the UMHB men’s basketball team warms up on the court, whether that be before a critical home game, or at halftime of an away contest, one thing stays the same. If you look on the back of the long-sleeved shirts the team wears, you will find the foundation of the program.
BELTON, Texas- Behind home-court advantage and 28 points from point guard Josiah Johnson, the UMHB men’s basketball team earned a win in its first conference game of the season, defeating Louisiana College, 74-71, on Thursday.
UMHB sports are back beginning Tuesday evening as the men’s basketball team returns to action on the road.
After over week off, the UMHB men’s basketball team is ready to hit the road once again, this time to face five different opponents in seven days.

ABILENE, Texas- For the second time in 24 hours, the UMHB men’s basketball team walked off the court as winners in Abilene, earning a 94-84 victory over McMurry Saturday afternoon.
In Clif Carroll’s first game at the helm of the UMHB men’s basketball program, the Cru fell to Texas State in an exhibition, 98-59.
