After capturing a 57-24 Stagg Bowl win over North Central on Dec. 17, the UMHB football team wrapped up its spectacular season, finishing with a 15-0 mark.
The season’s success was undoubtedly made possible by contributions from the entire roster, and a few in particular stood out as especially notable. A number of these players are in the running for True To The Cru’s Players of the Year awards, which are decided by votes from both the general public and the local media.
Fredenburg named D3football.com Coach of the Year, 5 Crusaders named All-Americans
CANTON, Ohio- Following UMHB’s national championship victory Friday night, head coach Pete Fredenburg was named D3football.com’s Coach of the Year. This marks the first time, since the honor was first awarded in 2005, that Fredenburg has been named Coach of the Year.
