BELTON-The season has ended for the UMHB men’s and women’s soccer teams, but the awards keep rolling in.
There was no lack of UMHB representation on the All-Region teams released by the United Soccer Coaches on Wednesday, as a total of seven Crusaders, along with a coaching staff, were featured with the Region 10 honorees.
BELTON- The 2022 season just got a little bit better for the UMHB women’s soccer team.
Three days after winning its first ASC title in program history, and four days prior to the NCAA Tournament opener in San Antonio, the Crusaders were well-represented on the ASC’s postseason awards and All-Conference teams, which were released Tuesday.
BELTON-The storyline cannot get much better for the UMHB women’s soccer team.
Two weeks ago, the Crusaders managed to knock off rival Hardin-Simmons, 1-0, beating the Cowgirls, winners of 19 straight ASC titles, for the first time in program history.
ROUND ROCK- Postseason soccer will be played in Belton next week.
The UMHB women’s soccer team secured the No. 1 seed in the ASC Tournament with its 4-1 victory at Concordia (TX) on Saturday afternoon, making history for the second straight week by becoming the first team in program history to complete the regular season conference schedule with an undefeated record of 8-0-1.
LONGVIEW, Texas- History was made on Thursday night, as the UMHB women’s soccer team won not only its conference opener, but also its eighth straight match, making it the best start to a season in program history.
BELTON, Texas- For just the third time in program history, the UMHB women’s soccer team has an All-American.
