There were plenty of great matchups around the ASC on Saturday afternoon, as Week 7 unfolded. Here is a look at what went on in the conference as eight of the nine teams were in action.
SEGUIN, Texas- There were just 800 people in the stands at Bulldog Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Only 800 people who saw Kyle King break the program record for completions in a single game. Only 800 people who witnessed Matthew Jackson’s record-setting 95-yard punt return. Only 800 people who watched the UMHB offense put up double the amount of first-quarter points it had in the previous two games.
For the second straight week, No. 4 UMHB is on the road, facing Texas Lutheran in Seguin on Saturday afternoon. It is a matchup that has quite a bit of meaning to a few members of UMHB’s coaching staff, and features two of the ASC’s best kick/punt returners. Not to mention, UMHB is seeking its fifth straight conference win as the second half of the regular season rolls by. We cover it all in this week’s game preview, presented by The Best of Belton.
