BELTON — It was the epitome of a defensive battle. On a night when neither UMHB nor UT-Dallas shot above 35 percent, UTD missed its first 12 shots, and UMHB went the entire second quarter without scoring, the visitors from Richardson came away with a narrow 49-45 victory.

BELTON — For the first time in head coach Mark Pryor’s six-year tenure, UMHB Volleyball has won at least 20 matches in consecutive seasons. In Friday’s home finale, The Cru swept UT Dallas in straight sets, improving to 20-6 with just two contests left in the regular season.
RICHARDSON, Texas- It took some time early on in the season, through difficult losses and disappointing performances on the road, but the UMHB men’s basketball team seems to have found its stride as the homestretch of the regular season unfolds.
UT-Dallas announced a decision on Thursday to join the Lone Star Conference and move up to the D-II level in 2025. The ASC is currently down to just five institutions committed to the league through 2025-26.
Facing elimination on Friday afternoon, UMHB softball put together a strong effort against UT-Dallas, then run-ruled LeTourneau, advancing to Saturday.
BELTON- Less than 24 hours after defeating LeTourneau, the UMHB volleyball team returned to the court and battled league rival UT-Dallas in a rematch of last season’s ASC Championship match on Saturday afternoon. Both teams put up an inspired fight, though UTD came up with a 3-2 victory in five sets. UMHB is now 9-3 overall and 3-2 in ASC play.
BELTON, Texas- UT-Dallas did all it could to slow the UMHB women’s basketball team Thursday night, including employing a full-court press for much of the contest. But the Crusaders, behind some late-game heroics from Arieona Rosborough and consistency from the free-throw line, pulled out a 79-68 overtime win in Belton.
