UMHB Men’s Basketball game against UT Dallas Canceled due to COVID-19

RICHARDSON, Texas- The UMHB men’s basketball team began the week with a slate of three games.

That has now been reduced to just one, Tuesday’s loss to Sul Ross State, as the Cru’s scheduled game on Thursday afternoon against UT Dallas has been canceled due to COVID-19 protocols. According to a statement released by the UMHB athletics department, the non-conference duel between the Comets and Crusaders will not be rescheduled.

In addition, UMHB’s anticipated showdown with Sam Houston State, scheduled for this Saturday in Huntsville, Texas, was rescheduled for December 29.

With that, Clif Carroll’s squad must now look towards next Monday, when they begin a two-game swing through east Texas and battle LeTourneau at 3 p.m. in Longview.
