True To The Cru videographer Luke C. Zayas was at Sunday’s game and captured all the action, including some of the Cru’s best shots, several of which are featured below.
Kaitlyn Kollmorgen is fouled and converts on both free-throw attempts. Kollmorgen finished with a team-high `10 points, shooting 4-for-4 from the line. Cheyanne Bonilla connects on a three-point attempt, her first of two threes in the game. Bonila tallied eight points. Ashley Faux with a three-pointer from the corner! Faux was 2-for-5 from behind the arc, scoring a total of 10 points. Phenomenal assist from Kasey Jo Hinton, as Kollmorgen scores two of UMHB’s 24 points in the paint. Excellent drive to lane from Olivia Champion, who gets the layup to go. Champion tallied five points in the contest. Champion connects from midrange after a good pass from Bethany McLeod. McLeod had four assists.

ABILENE, Texas- In Thursday’s victory over Hardin-Simmons, Josiah Johnson did not lead the UMHB men’s basketball team in points for the first time this season. However, on Saturday, as the Cru beat McMurry for the second time this season by a score of 94-66, Johnson once again proved to be UMHB’s go-to offensive weapon, as he put 35 points on the board.
True To The Cru’s Russell Marwitz was courtside for Saturday’s victory for UMHB women’s basketball, as the Crusaders earned their 13th straight win against UT-Dallas. Below is a collection of his best photos from the contest.
