UMHB women’s basketball took the win over McMurry on Saturday, 72-48. The Cru shot 46.7% on field goal attempts in the team’s 15th straight win.

MEMPHIS- There is no bigger stage than the NCAA Tournament. And under the bright lights of a first-round contest, trailing Webster 76-75 with 36 seconds to play, the UMHB women’s basketball team found its game-winning shooter in one of the team’s most experienced players.

SAN ANTONIO- The clock ticked under 20 seconds as Puget Sound inbounded the ball near midcourt, with a game-winning opportunity ahead. UMHB led 58-57, though, and in a game that had been marked by solid defense and offensive struggles, all the Crusaders really needed was a single stop on the defensive end to claim the victory.
