BELTON-On the final weekend of the season, the CRU took the series 2-1, defeating Howard Payne. In the first game of Saturday’s doubleheader, UMHB lost 9-6, but then won the second, 11-4. UMHB was led by Carson Hagan, who had three hits and three RBIs in the second game, as well as starting pitcher Rahul Champaneri, who allowed just two hits in five scoreless innings.

BELTON-UMHB backed up its No. 1 ranking on Saturday night, defeating No. 11 Muhlenberg in dominant fashion, with a 62-13 final score. The Cru tallied 674 yards of total offense, scoring on every possession except for one over the course of the game’s first three quarters. 

True To The Cru was on site at Crusader Stadium, covering the season opener from start to finish with a team of writers, photographers and videographers. BELTON, Texas- For the UMHB women’s soccer team and head coach Barry Elkins, they have heard the questions about using this abbreviated spring season as momentum for the fall. But the Crusaders are not looking that far ahead. There simply is no reason to when a seven-match slate looms large this spring.
