BELTON- In front of a homecoming crowd, the UMHB football team started slow, but found its rhythm soon enough, shutting out Austin College over the game’s final three quarters en route to a 38-7 victory on Saturday afternoon. 

The Crusaders picked up 547 yards of total offense, and moved to 4-1 on the season, with a 3-0 record in ASC play.

Johnson scores 35 as the UMHB men’s basketball team overwhelms McMurry

ABILENE, Texas- In Thursday’s victory over Hardin-Simmons, Josiah Johnson did not lead the UMHB men’s basketball team in points for the first time this season. However, on Saturday, as the Cru beat McMurry for the second time this season by a score of 94-66, Johnson once again proved to be UMHB’s go-to offensive weapon, as he put 35 points on the board.

Kollmorgen, Faux, and Rosborough helping UMHB women’s hoops to success after making NCAA Tournament debuts

LEXINGTON, Kentucky- The UMHB women’s basketball team has been here before. In fact, the previous two times the NCAA Tournament has been held, the Crusaders have reached the Round of 16. But those teams were different from this year’s squad in one way: experience. 

Veteran-laden teams in 2019 and 2020, the Cru had multiple seniors coming off both the bench and in the starting lineup. That is not the case on this year’s squad, which is made up of several young standouts, and features just four players who played on the last tournament team in 2020.
