One Shining Moment: UMHB men’s and women’s basketball 2023 video

The 2022-2023 season was one of great memories for both the Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s and women’s basketball programs. There were ups and downs, but the Crusaders stayed the course and found success on a number of occasions, making the UMHB community proud.

We wanted to capture the plays that made the emotion and excitement that captivated the crowds who watched them play over the last five months, and made this team incredibly special to cover. So take a look back on this past season, set to the tune of “One Shining Moment”.

ARLINGTON, Texas- For 32 minutes, the UMHB men’s basketball team stayed in stride with D-I UT-Arlington. A tough eight-minute stretch midway through the second half resulted in a 104-75 exhibition loss on Saturday night, but more importantly, the Cru displayed improvement from Thursday’s loss to Stephen F. Austin and held its own against D-I competition.
