BELTON-The UMHB women’s basketball team is not only anticipated to return most of its roster from this past season, but also brings in a number of talented commits in the 2023 recruiting class. That group of newcomers includes Lexi Clements, a sharpshooting guard out of Lake Travis High School in the Austin area, where she finished her senior season as a District 26-6A First-Team selection.
Clements committed to UMHB on July 28, 2022, and recently, True To The Cru’s Riley Zayas caught up with the future Crusader to discuss her commitment to UMHB, staying committed through UMHB’s head coaching change, and overcoming an ACL injury midway through her high school career.
