Belton, Tx- UMHB Women’s and Men’s Basketball both pulled out victories over East Texas Baptist University on Saturday afternoon. The Crusader women extended their win streak to seven games, while the Crusader men capped a 2-0 week in conference play.

BELTON, Texas- The UMHB football team won a playoff game for the 16th straight season on Saturday afternoon, defeating Trinity 13-3 in the first-round. Aphonso Thomas tallied a 17-yard touchdown run with 2:05 remaining, sealing the Cru’s victory.

BELTON- With exactly three weeks until its season opener, the UMHB women’s basketball team was in action on Saturday afternoon in a scrimmage against Temple College.

UMHB women’s basketball battles, but falls at No. 10 Whitman, 64-50

WALLA WALLA, Wash. — Jaycie Brisco put up a double-double, but a dismal second quarter proved to be too much for UMHB to overcome Thursday night, as No. 10 Whitman gained a lead and never let it go, defeating The Cru, 64-50.
