BELTON-After a 13-0 victory on Friday night to open the series with Hardin-Simmons, UMHB baseball followed with a 5-3 win in Game 2 on Saturday, securing a series win for The Cru. Rhett Grosz’s 3-run home run in the sixth inning lifted UMHB to its 11th ASC win of the season, and it was fitting that it came on senior day, considering the impact Grosz, a senior, has had on the UMHB program. Rahul Champaneri, also a senior, earned the win on the mound in Game 2, striking out five in 6.0 innings. HSU took Game 3, 7-4.
