PHOTOS: UMHB Women’s Soccer vs. McMurry

BELTON – The UMHB women’s soccer team defeated McMurry for the 17th straight time on Saturday evening in a 2-0 shutout, winning its second home match of the 2024 season. The Crusaders are now 23-0-3 against the Warhawks, with their current win streak dating back to 2007.

Kamryn Taylor found the back of the net for the second time this season in the 43rd minute with an assist from Allie Angell, giving UMHB a 1-0 lead heading into halftime. The Cru added to its advantage on Ariana Vazquez’s first collegiate goal in the 73rd minute, and UMHB’s offensive attack was on-point for much of the night. UMHB took 19 shots to McMurry’s 1, with 11 of those shots being on goal.
