BELTON, Texas- On Monday, D3hoops.com came out with two articles. The website confirmed what many D3 college basketball coaches and fans alike had been expecting, yet not wanting to hear. There are not enough D3 college basketball teams, on either the men’s or women’s side, currently playing to meet the required number of teams needed for the NCAA to hold the NCAA Tournament in March.
Last Thursday, the UMHB men’s basketball team earned a 74-71 win in its conference opener against Louisiana College. Check out some great photos from the contest!
BELTON, Texas- Josiah Johnson’s SportsCenter-worthy halfcourt buzzer beater before halftime proved to be the spark the UMHB men’s basketball team needed, as the Cru used a strong second half to take down Belhaven, 109-91, on Saturday.

BELTON, Texas- In head coach Clif Carroll’s first home game in Belton, his Crusaders did not disappoint, fighting conference foe Concordia hard, though they fell in a high-scoring, 106-101 affair Friday night.
