Pitching powers UMHB Softball’s home win streak to 19 with doubleheader sweep of McMurry
Facing a McMurry lineup that had hit above .300 in each of its previous six contests, The Cru shut the Warhawks down at the plate, leading wire-to-wire in a doubleheader sweep at home. McMurry hit just .111 in the twinbill, as UMHB won by scores of 3-0 and 8-1.
Polleschultz breaks career stolen base record, UMHB improves to 10-2 in sweep of Carnegie Mellon
BELTON – In the bottom of the 6th inning on Thursday night, Lindsey Polleschultz made a break for second base. With two outs, and The Cru leading Carnegie Mellon 5-0, the senior shortstop safely reached the bag, putting herself in scoring position for the third time in the contest, adding to an already-impressive 3-for-4 day at the plate.
