BELTON, Texas- A win is a win, no matter the margin of victory. Especially once conference play rolls around. But UMHB head coach Clif Carroll was clear in his message postgame on Friday night. Defeating Ozarks by 20 points to open ASC action is notable, but this is far from where the Crusaders want to be.
BELTON, Texas- Any doubt about the UMHB women’s basketball team’s competitiveness entering Friday’s ASC opener was put to rest, as the Crusaders defeated Ozarks 72-42, behind 54 points from the bench.
BELTON, Texas- The conference openers have arrived for the UMHB men’s and women’s basketball teams.
Throughout the month of November, the Crusaders each tested their depth in non-conference play, with the women posting a 2-2 record, while the men put together a 4-0 record and earned a No. 11 ranking in the D3hoops.com Top 25 poll, released Monday.
CLARKSVILLE, Arkansas- After losing in its ASC opener to UT Dallas on Thursday, the UMHB women’s basketball team bounced back, defeating Ozarks 75-57 on Saturday behind a strong third quarter.
Conference play has arrived for the Cru.
