BELTON- Just over 15 hours after emerging with a 3-2 victory over league rival Hardin-Simmons, the UMHB volleyball team claimed its fourth straight victory, sweeping McMurry (25-21, 27-25, 25-17) on Saturday afternoon.
For the second straight contest, Hannah Frasca led the Cru in kills, with 17, and also tallied three aces. Her 14 digs, along with the kills, marked her eighth double-double of the season. Kaylie Vasil recorded 10 kills and 10 digs for a double-double as well.
UMHB is now 13-6 overall, and 6-4 in ASC play. Saturday’s win moved the Cru into third place in the conference standings.
