Josiah Johnson named D3hoops.com Preseason First-Team All-American

BELTON, Texas- The accolades continue to roll in for Josiah Johnson. 

The UMHB guard was named a D3hoops.com Preseason First-Team All-American on Tuesday morning, following last season in which he ranked third nationally in points per game (29.3), tied the UMHB record for points in a game (53), and earned the ASC’s Male Athlete of the Year award.

UMHB men’s basketball will host NCAA Tournament first round matchup after winning ASC title

BELTON- There was a sense of anticipation around the UMHB men’s basketball program on Monday morning. 

The D-III NCAA Tournament bracket was revealed around 11:45 a.m. CT, but even before that point, the Crusaders knew their trip to the national tournament was a lock, as they had claimed the ASC’s automatic bid in Saturday’s 99-82 victory over LeTourneau.
