Offensive Player of the Week: Brandon Jordan
Jordan was fantastic in his role in UMHB’s passing success, leading the Cru in receptions, with six, on eight targets. He was the only receiver, for either team, with 100-plus receiving yards in the 24-17 victory over Trinity, as he tallied 139 yards. Jordan also had a 45-yard touchdown and in addition to his receiving performance, had multiple key blocks, including one on Jamaal Hamilton’s 60-yard touchdown early in the third quarter.

Defensive Player of the Week: Omari Frazer
A standout defensive back for the Crusader secondary, Frazier led UMHB in tackles, with 11, six of which were solo. He forced a fumble, and also was responsible for 1.5 sacks. He is now third on the defense in total tackles this season, with 67.

Special Teams Player of the Week: Matthew Jackson
Jackson had a 90-yard kickoff return for a touchdown that was called back due to a penalty, but he also returned a pair of Trinity punts for 20 yards and had a 36-yard kickoff return. Jackson is averaging 23.11 yards per punt return, which ranked first on the team and has returned seven kickoffs for an average of 22.43 yards.
