AUSTIN, Texas- Though no fans sat in the stands in the Concordia Fieldhouse, the intensity on the court brought out the best in both teams, as the UMHB volleyball team split a doubleheader with the Tornadoes of Concordia on Tuesday night.
TEMPLE, Texas- In its first, and likely only neutral site game of the regular season, the UMHB women’s basketball team earned its second win over Concordia (TX) in the last three days, defeating the Tornadoes 53-44 on Saturday afternoon at Temple College.
BELTON, Texas- On January 8, just a week before conference play was set to begin, the UMHB men’s basketball team allowed Concordia to earn a win in Belton in the home opener. On Thursday night, the Cru made sure that did not happen, as the perfect ASC record was kept alive and the team earned a 85-74 win over the Tornadoes.
BELTON, Texas- Perhaps it was a 12 day stretch without a game that lit the spark for the UMHB women’s basketball team, as the Cru snapped a four-game losing skid, defeating Concordia 74-42, on Thursday night.
BELTON, Texas- In head coach Clif Carroll’s first home game in Belton, his Crusaders did not disappoint, fighting conference foe Concordia hard, though they fell in a high-scoring, 106-101 affair Friday night.
