Voting is open for True To The Cru’s Play of the Game in the victory over Southwestern

There were plenty of memorable moments in UMHB football’s 52-7 victory over Southwestern on Saturday, but these three plays stuck out and changed the course of the game for the Cru. Below are three plays under consideration and we want the fans to decide which deserves the honor of “Play of the Game”. Vote below, and please note, no double votes will be counted.

Quarterback Tommy Bowden avoids the sack, and breaks an impressive seven tackles in the open field as he sprints 59 yards to put UMHB in the red zone. That scramble would lead to a UMHB touchdown just two plays later.

Watch Bowden’s amazing run from another camera view, and in the second video, watch wide receiver Brandon Jordan pull in one of his two touchdown receptions right in the corner of the end zone, heavily guarded by a Southwestern defender.

Sante Parker Jr. forces a Southwestern fumble, as Jayden Smith sprints from his spot in the UMHB secondary to push the ball past the goal line and into the end zone.
