Wykeyhe Walker, a receiver for the UMHB football team from 2013-2016, was part of a number of notable moments in the program’s history, including the first win in Crusader Stadium and the 2016 Stagg Bowl title run. A three-year starter, the San Antonio product finished his college career with 2,267 receiving yards, 126 receptions, and 24 touchdowns.
His breakout season came in 2015, when he averaged 78.6 yards per game, a number that still ranks second all-time in program history. His 4.8 receptions per game ranks fourth in program history for a single season, and he is also fourth in career receiving yards.
He sits down with Riley Zayas for a fun conversation about his time in Belton and supporting The Cru now as an alum. He also talks about meeting his wife, Natasha, at UMHB, as she was a standout volleyball player for The Cru, as well as what UMHB has meant to him and his family. Listen now!
