BELTON — Saturday’s ASC opener at Crusader Stadium was back-and-forth from start to finish. UMHB and ETBU traded scores through the first half then the Tigers took a 28-27 lead early in the fourth quarter. But The Cru answered with a go-ahead scoring drive that concluded with 4:17 left, and took advantage of a fumble with a second touchdown in the final five minutes, sealing the 42-28 win.
UMHB improved to 2-0 against Division III opponents this season, while ETBU had its three-game win streak snapped.
